I recently photographed Brenna and John at Old Town Petersburg and Richard Bland. This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married on April 5. 2014. I can’t wait to be a part of their special day!
When John proposed he took Brenna to Bell Isle in Richmond, up to an overlook, overlooking an inlet of water, for a picnic. When they made it to the overlook he distracted her with a beautiful bouquet of little red roses, when she turned her attention back to John he was down on one knee, holding the most beautiful engagement ring she’d ever seen!
They plan on having a very simple, semi- casual affair. Brenna is most excited about the wedding dress! She’s had in mind for a long time what she wanted her wedding dress to look like and when she saw the perfect dress she had to have it! Brenna is very excited take her future husbands breath away as she walks down the aisle wearing her dream dress!
I know it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding!
Future wedding details aside, let’s get to the present: Brenna and John’s engagement session! These two are real naturals in front of the camera. Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, a sublime location and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot one to remember!
May these two live happily ever after!!!!
Today I want you to meet Dustin.
Dustin is a senior at Midlothian High School. He is very active in Varsity baseball, coaching and camps.
Dustin was a lot of fun to work with. I didn’t have to do a lot of redirection to get the pose I was looking for and he has an infectious smile.
I asked Dustin whether he had any advice to offer others who were getting ready to take senior pictures. This is what he had to share: “Just Relax” he said.
After high school, Dustin plans on attending college and majoring in Engineering.
Best of luck to Dustin. I know you’ll be very successful.
I always adore photographing weddings. There’s so much love in the air and the bride and groom spent so much time carefully planning all the details. It was not any different for Leanna and Eddy’s wedding, either!
The wedding was at Church, the reception was at The Train Station and was catered by Piccadilly Catering. They danced to their first song, which was played by the DJ, Wedding Bug
A few more people that helped their wedding go off without a hitch was:
Florist: Boulevard Flowers
You could tell they were surrounded by family and friends who loved them.
I felt so honored to have the opportunity to share in their “Happily Ever After”. I wish them many many years of joy and happiness together. ♥
Old Towne Peterburg in Virginia is such an amazing backdrop for any event, especially weddings!
I had such an amazing time capturing the love these two shared with their friends and family on their wedding day. The setting had a vintage/romantic feel.
